This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 12th-18th September, the sun is in gate 47, gate of realisation. We continue to experience a wide open reflector transit chart. Thursday 14th September brings the channel of abstraction, completing the 64-47. On Saturday 16th September, the sun moves into gate 6 in the solar plexus.

The sun moved into gate 47 on Sunday 10th September, continuing the abstract collective energetic theme for the week until Saturday. Gate 47 is part of the channel of abstraction along with the previous sun gate, gate 64 of confusion.
The gate of realisation, in the ajna, is seeking to make sense of past experiences by filtering it through what you already know to be true. When we think about gate 64, and all of the visual information it brings, gate 47 is the awareness needed to make sense of all of that inspiration.
If gate 64 is like an old school film reel, with hours and hours worth of content all shot out of order, gate 47 has the job of cutting it all up and piecing it together in a coherent manner. Gate 47 is bringing the awareness to find that, “I’ve cracked it” moment where it all makes sense.
However, to continue to film analogy, there is not just one way to piece the film together. Gate 47 has the opportunity, with the wealth of information from the 64, to create an endless amount of new films by piecing it together in new and different ways.
So gate 47 is not bringing the awareness of THE answer, THE clarity, or THE realization. Just one answer of many with access to many more.
Human Design Transits Forecast 12th-18th September Theme: Moving Through Fiction & Making Sense of it All
Gate 47 makes sense of past experiences by referencing things it already knows. It is seeking clarity through recognition. By saying, I already know this, this and this, therefore this new information can teach us this. Gate 47 uses personal experiences, knowledge and truths to make sense of any new information it is presented with.
But like the 64, the 47 must be left to its process without pressure to find an answer and especially without pressure to find THE answer. It is easy for gate 47 to get stuck in doing and trying to figure it out.
This week you can reflect upon, what mental expectations do I have of myself? What can I do while I wait for a realization to come? What environments support me whilst I wait for the breakthrough moment to occur? How can I be okay not knowing (and possibly never knowing) the answer?
Similarly to gate 64, the answer will come. There is nothing you need to do but live life and enjoy the experiment.
Are you trying to force life?
On Thursday 14th, we experience the entire channel of abstraction bringing together the inspiration from the 64 and the awareness to create epiphanies in gate 47. After moving through the confusion of last week’s sun gate into the realisation of this week’s, this energy might feel more easy to navigate.
The bigger theme here is inviting you to relax, accept the divine timing of life, trust that the clarity and answer will come without focusing on the “how”.
If you find yourself pondering the hows of life, come back to your body. Asking, where do I feel this tension in my body? How can I serve my physical self whilst I wait? What evidence do I have of trusting the divine timing of epiphanies? What do I already know to be true that can support me?
You may also want to zoom out and ask, what big dreams do I have for my life/the collective? How can I experience the joy of these big dreams right now? What thought patterns are no longer serving me that I am willing to release?
Connecting through friction – gate 6
On Saturday 16th September, the sun moves into gate 6 and shifts the energetic focus away from the collective circuit and into the tribal experience.
Gate 6, in the solar plexus, is the gate of friction. Part of the channel of mating, 59-6 from the sacral to the solar plexus, the gate of friction dictates whether you are open to creating intimacy or not. It is the friction that we need to bypass to create a spark of connection. Gate 6 can be seen as a wall that is either up and closed to connection, or down and open for intimate relationships.
As you will remember from previous weeks, the 59-6, as part of the defense circuit, is about creating newness. Gate 6 is the emotional part of this experience. The gate of friction carries a penetrating energy that has the ability to lock into the aura of another, to build the friction of connection, and then transcend it.
As an emotional gate, timing is essential for gate 6. The timing must be right for both parties in order to move forward and create intimacy. Biologically this is sexual and about creating humans, but it is also about the ability and awareness to create intimate spaces for co-creation to exist.
Gate 6 & The quintessential romcom
It is in the waiting that the friction builds and the greatest intimacy can be experienced. If you think of every romcom ever, the two protagonists never meet and get together. There is always a long drawn out story as to why they can’t be together. And as the story progresses the friction builds until they can break through the barrier and be together forever! That’s essentially what gate 6 is bringing this week.
You might want to reflect on, where am I allowing the friction to build? How is conflict a way to connect more deeply? Where do I have the energy to move through conflict/friction? Am I taking the time to find emotional clarity before approaching conflict?
