This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 5th-11th September, the sun is in gate 64, gate of confusion. We spend most of the week with a reflector transit chart, spending only 1 day with the channel 42-53 before the sun shifts into gate 47.

So let’s chat about Reflector transits. Reflectors as a type make up only 1% of the population and serve as mirrors for their communities. Reflectors, on the outside, truly become who and what they are surrounded by. If the environment is low vibe and negative, the Reflector mirrors that. If a group is positive and energetic, so becomes the Reflector.
However this doesn’t necessarily mean the Reflector internally is feeling this way. Reflectors due to the nature of their aura can feel almost invisible in situations. As they mirror what is happening the question becomes, who am I? Or how can others see the true me?
Reflectors and Manifestors share similar auras.
Manifestor auras are dense and protective, keeping others out so that they can focus on their own energy, path and urges. Reflector auras are sampling or resistant. The aura takes in small pieces of what is around them energetically and reflects this back. This serves the Reflector by not allowing them to get completely overwhelmed by the energy, emotions, stress, fear and mental anxiety that having 9 open centers can bring.
But again, having a selective aura means not everybody can see in, or is even interested in doing so. Add onto that fact that the aura is also reflecting back, you can see how easy it can be for a Reflector to get lost in the situations and emotions of life.
These coming transits are an invitation into yourself. Asking the big questions, when all else is removed who am I? What is important to me? When/where/with whom do I feel my most vital self?
You are being invited to fully embody your own energy. Using supportive emptying out practices like walking, grounding, yoga, exercise, meditation to release anything you have picked up.
Human Design Transits Forecast 5th-11th September Theme: Confusion, Cycles and the big question “who am I?”
Yesterday, Monday 4th of September, the sun moved into gate 64, the gate of confusion. Gate 64 is part of the channel of abstraction from the head to the ajna, and my conscious sun gate.
So let me tell you, I know a thing or 2 about confusion. (This week, with my solar return on the 6th, you all get to experience a little bit of what it feels like to be me! )
Gate 64 is the beginning of the stream of sensing, the pressure to begin the collective abstract mental process. Although this energy is very mental, in the head, it’s purpose is to take you on an emotional experience.
Every gate and channel in the collective abstract circuit is seeking emotional clarity, an emotional truth. And this always takes time. So even the channels we see in the head and ajna, plus the root to sacral to G through to the throat, will carry the theme of needing time to organize past experiences. With the abstract circuitry you are always seeking to make sense of the past, both personally and collectively.
And this is so very relevant in gate 64.
Divine timing of clarity from confusion – gate 64
Gate 64 is the gate of confusion. Gate 64 is flooded with the pressure to make sense of the past. The past here is very visual, showing up as images, still frames and mini-movies of things that you have experienced. The pressure to find clarity paired with the overwhelming amount of information here can cause total confusion and you may become stuck in the pressure.
As with all pressure gates, in the head and the root, you cannot will your way to a solution. You cannot push through to find a reasonable, acceptable answer. It is all about timing.
Gate 64 invites you to allow yourself to be confused, allow the images and videos to fly past you, without the pressure to make sense of them in this moment.
As my conscious sun, the confusion of gate 64 has been a grand theme in my experience. It is only by letting it be that there can be a breakthrough. Gate 64 is asking you to step back and relax. It also brings this really gorgeous knowing, in its highest expression, that there will be an answer. That it doesn’t need forcing. That it will appear in divine timing.
You can reflect upon, where am I putting pressure on myself and others in life? How can I accept the confusion? What does divine timing look like in my life? What examples do I have of having the needed breakthroughs when I relax into the process?
Channeling the confusion
I also love that gate 64 holds such huge opportunities for new ideas and new ways of seeing the world. With its capacity to store and filter so much information, there is an almost infinite opportunity for new and possibly life changing breakthroughs. But these breakthroughs can only occur when you leave the energy to its natural process.
You can ask yourself, when I feel under pressure how can I channel my energy into something that supports me? How can I honor and care for my physical body when I feel mentally overwhelmed?
Often spending time channelling your mental energy into things that bring you creation and joy can distract you consciously and allow the process to happen in the background. What brings me joy to create? Where am I creating time for exploration and creativity?
Remember as you move through this week, the breakthrough will come. You don’t need to do anything to speed up the process (this especially goes for my undefined sacral and undefined root humans).
Living Life & Learning Lessons – channel of maturation
On Saturday 9th September, the Human Design transits brings definition to channel 42-53, the channel of maturation from the sacral to the root center. This is also part of the abstract collective circuit, so you can see a theme for this week.
The channel of maturation is the beginning of the abstract emotional process through the body. The 42-53 is the format channel, creating the energy, for the emotional process. This week is really bringing us the energy to begin an emotional process both physically in the 42-53 and mentally with the sun in gate 64.
So you may wish to ponder over, what am I ready to begin? Where have I been avoiding an action that feels aligned and good? Is there anything in the way of my next correct action?
The 42-53 is focused on the process of maturing. And if we know anything in life, it is that lessons are best learned by doing. We can hear 100 stories of how badly something goes, but we only truly learn when we find out for ourselves. This channel gives the energy to begin and end a cycle in order to grow. Bringing the collective questions of, when have I learned ENOUGH to not repeat this cycle again?
You can ask yourself, where do I see repeating patterns in my life? What wisdom can I take from less than favourable experiences? What do I know is true that I am not yet ready to hear?
With the focus here on the cyclical experience of life, it is essential that you enter into each experience correctly. Asking, am I following my strategy and authority? When I enter an experience without following my authority what has happened in the past?
There is no “end goal” with this channel, or with the abstract circuit in general. It is all about the experience, the learning and the growth. This channel is the beginning of a stream with a true talent for living life. Rich experiences and opportunities can begin here when you are willing to let go of expectations and dive into life in the present.
You may reflect on, what expectations am I holding? How are expectations keeping me from experiencing a full, rich and exciting life? Where can I focus on the journey? How does it feel in my body to be present?
All of life is cyclical. We are all born and die. There are seasons that come and go. Flowers bloom, seed and regrow. The cycles of life are unavoidable. The channel of maturation also invites you to contemplate that all endings are just beginnings. That each cycle that ends creates the vacuum for another to be lived. That there is not truly an end to anything, just a shift in focus to what is coming next.
On Sunday 10th September, the sun shifts into gate 47, the other half of the channel of abstraction with gate 64 but we’ll dive into that one next week!
