Welcome to your final week in the Human Design transits forecast months long stretch with the channel 3-60, channel of mutation. This week, August 22nd-28th, we finally step away from the constant sacral and root center definition and find some space in a reflector transit.
This week the sun moves into gate 59 with a brief definition in the 59-6, channel of mating, from the solar plexus to the sacral. The 3-60 definition comes to completion on Saturday 26th August and we can all (especially you non-sacral and undefined root folks) breathe a sigh of relief for 2 days in your own clear energy as we are gifted a Reflector transit.
Human Design Transits Forecast 22nd-28th August Theme: Spaciousness, Fertility and Creativity.
From today until Saturday, we are in the final days of the 3-60 channel of mutation. This channel has been defining the sacral and root center for MONTHS! It is not lost on me that this definition has come during the summer period in the northern hemisphere and the time we are (usually) most active. So this shift is inviting you to begin to wind down, to enter into a harvest, an autumn phase in life.
You can reflect upon, what have I built and grown over the past few months? What can I now step back from? Where can I invite more restoration into my life? How can I let what I planted flourish without my intervention?
Gate 59 & Creating Intimacy
On Thursday 24th August, the sun moves into gate 59, the gate of sexuality or the gate of intimacy. This gate is in the sacral center and part of the defense circuit.
The defense circuit is a sub-group of the tribal circuit and is fully focused on creating new life (59-6) and keeping that life alive (27-50) until it can produce more life. So gate 59 is where our energy, our response, to create new life begins. Biologically this sees us creating more humans, but this also extends to creative ideas, opportunities and endeavours of all kinds.
This gate is biologically driven to create intimate relationships in order to be creative in unison with another. However, gate 59 has the keynote of “dispersion”. Literally dispersing your seed, or creative idea, to anybody who will accept it.
When you think of intimacy we think of slow, long build, solid foundation types of relationships. Gate 59 is not that. In response to life, gate 59 seeks to connect, disperse and create but has no bearing, or real interest in, longevity of any kind. This gate gives off an alluring energy, enticing people into short-term intimacy.
You may think about, what do I find alluring in life? Where do I allow myself to respond in the moment? How is focusing on longevity restricting my access to my most vital energy? What feels good to share with others right now?
Intimacy Needs friction to create!
Thursday 24th is also bringing gate 6, the gate of friction to complete the 59-6, channel of mating. Gate 6 in the solar plexus brings the awareness of who to connect to, or not. This channel is bringing both the energy and the awareness of where in life is fertile ground.
Biologically once again this is about creating life, but it also allows us to connect to where in life, and with who, is creativity most present. This channel brings the universal law that life must create more life. Or creative beings (aka everyone) must create.
You can contemplate on, who allows me to be my most vital self? Who allows me to share and create with joy and pleasure as the focus?
The energy of the 59-6 is penetrating. This is essential for breaking down the barriers that stand in the way of intimacy. But it is not always comfortable to be on the receiving end of this energy. You may find yourself connecting emotionally more deeply, or not, today.
You can reflect on, who is ready to receive me? Am I aware of who is ready and who is not? How do I know when a connection is open and fertile?
Emotional definition 59-6 – The abstract Wave
The 59-6 is an emotional channel and therefore has its own emotional wave. This is known as the source wave and can be less obvious, and maybe less intense, than the other 3 emotional waves. It can be described as a rising (from the 59) until it meets a barrier, a place of friction (gate 6). This can cause a lot of frustration that may activate other shadows in the chart. By moving through the friction, often in connection with another person, by connecting or not connecting, the wave then continues to rise.
Mechanically you do not see the huge rises, drops, peaks and valleys that can be found in the abstract, individual or tribal wave. But this does not mean that it feels internally any less destabilising.
As this is powered by the sacral center this can be very physically felt. This emotional wave requires a deep respect of both the sacral response, and the time needed to ride the emotional experience before committing to the next creative venture.
You can ask yourself, where in life am I excited to push through the barriers? Where does the friction not bring a reward after?
Reflector transits & time to empty out
On Sunday 27th August (and at long last), the definition in the 3-60 comes to an end and you will enjoy 2 days of a Reflector transit. Collectively this may feel like a huge sigh of relief.
You may want to clear your schedule for these 2 days and spend time in your own aura. Inviting emptying out and nourishing practices for the days, moving away from the tension, and the potential melancholy, that the 3-60 has been providing.
This is a beautiful time to journal, voice note, or discuss with those who best hold space for you, what has been working for me recently? Is there anything that I can let go of (or loosen my grip upon)? Where in life do I feel spacious to move as I wish? Where feels a little restrictive? How can I invite a little more peace/satisfaction/delight/success into my everyday existence?
