This week in the Human Design transits for August 8th-14th, we continue to be collectively defined with the 3-60 channel of mutation. We also spend 5 days with the channel of abstraction, 64-47 and the sun moves into gate 4. The Human Design transit forecasts for 8th-14th of August are bringing again both pressure centers defined and a lot of space in between.
As we move into our 8th week of a defined root and sacral it may be helpful to check in with your physical body, reflecting on, over the last 8 weeks have I known when enough is enough? Have I been reacting to external pressures? Am I under constant pressure to do?
Especially if you have both/either of these centers undefined in your own chart. You may be feeling physically run down or disconnected to your body’s needs. Take a moment to check in, what does my body need right now? Where have I allowed my physical wellbeing to take a back step? What feels nourishing and replenishing to do? How can I make my physical well being my priority this week (& every week)?
Human Design Transits Forecast 8th-14th August Theme: Pressure, Curiosity & Youthful Joy!
When it comes to the root center, if you have any gates defined in your chart, this can give you some guidance as to where your pressure wants to go. Each of the gates in the root create a story of the pressure, the need or the desire to move out into the world. The top 3 gates connecting to the sacral, as part of the format channels, create the energy that then moves out to the left or right. This creates the pressure of moving energy towards its eventual expression in the throat.
On the logical (left) side of the root, we see energies that are all about the future. These gates are looking forward to what is (potentially) to come.
Gate 58 – the pressure to correct life
Gate 38 – the pressure to fight
Gate 54 – the pressure to climb a social ladder
On the abstract, emotional side (right), we see energies that move us into something, so that we can reflect and connect to others.
Gate 19 – the pressure to get emotional needs met
Gate 39 – the pressure to provoke
Gate 41 – the pressure to experience the vitality of life
The Pulse Of Life
The key to note here is this is just pressure, a pulse of energy. This is not consistent access to energy and an outcome. The root brings us the fire to start something. This is the blast out of the starting blocks. And if you are not following your strategy and authority, you might find yourself deep into an experience and suddenly without the energy to do anything useful with it.
I personally have all 6 of these gates defined in an undefined root, so I can tell you a thing or two about dealing with pressure. But it is also one of my favourite parts of my chart. I have the pressure, the fire, to get into all things! But it is so important that I (and you) remember this is JUST the pressure to begin!
Confusion or curiosity?
The channel of abstraction, the 64-47, moved into our awareness on Monday 7th August and will stay with us until Saturday 12th. Moving from the head to the ajna, this channel brings the pressure to make sense of confusion.
I like to think of gate 64, gate of confusion, as a box of lego (also known as legos by my American friends). The box has so many possibilities and opportunities that it is overwhelming and you cannot make sense of all the pieces. If you just sit back and stare at the lego, probably nothing will happen. But when you dive into the box slowly, with curiosity, the confusion begins to lessen and a model begins to slowly appear.
Confusion in this channel needs to be accepted and embraced in order to create something new. That is the energy of the channel of abstraction, taking something old (aka the lego) and creating something new from it. The confusion is an essential part of the process. If all thought was straightforward, nothing new would show up in the world.
The big theme of this channel is divine timing. Accepting that thought becomes clear, when it becomes clear. Ignoring the confusion will not make it go away. Forcing an answer will not work either. Merely allowing the confusion to be until the realization (gate 47) appears.
So this week you can think about, where am I forcing the next right action/answer/step in life? How is confusion serving me? Where can I slow down and just allow life to marinate? What feels exciting to do while I wait? How can the waiting be just as enjoyable as the epiphany and clarity?
Gate 4 – All about the potential
On Saturday 12th August, the sun moves into gate 4, in the ajna. Gate 4, the gate of formulisation, also known as the gate of answers, holds the ability to formulate potential answers to the questions created in gate 63. So the end of the week may be focused on answers. But the important part here is this is ONLY potential. Gate 4 is not here to provide “the answer” merely some answers.
You may find yourself coming up with lots of answers which is an amazing skill. But as this gate is in the ajna it comes with the potential of rigidity or fixedness. It may be supportive to focus on sharing any of these answers as potentials, a font of ideas, rather than the solution to whichever question is showing up.
This gate is part of the 63-4, channel of logic and part of the logical collective circuitry. This is the start of the logical thinking process. Gate 63 is constantly asking, “but is it?”, creating doubt and testing the validity of the patterns and knowings that we hold as truth in the collective. Essentially gate 63 pokes holes in what we know to be true. Gate 4 then brings a variety of possible solutions to fill the gaps.
Youthful Folly!
The traditional i’ching keynote for this gate is the “youthful folly” due to its childlike delight at coming up with solutions, no matter how improbable (because that isn’t the point here).
You can think about, where am I allowing probability to cloud my joy and excitement in life? How can I be fluid with all the potential answers that life supplies? What questions do I wish to think about and which can I release completely? How can coming up with solutions, without implementing them, be the goal here?
