The Human Design transits forecast for 25th-31st July is bringing the invitation for balance. We enter another week with the 3-60 channel of mutation and we see it juxtaposed with the channel of community, 37-40. This week will also bring collective definition in the 43-23, channel of structuring, better known as the genius to freak channel.
Today, Tuesday 25th of July, the sun moved into gate 31, gate of influence, with the voice “I will lead”. This is another collective circuit gate but lives on the logical side of it all. As the sun stays in an expression gate this week we are moving away from telling a great story, and towards a logical projection into the future.
Because that’s what a great leader can do. They have the ability to take into consideration what is and project it into what can be in order to make strong and supportive decisions.

But first, let’s chat motor centers. With the channel of mutation and channel of community defined in the transits this week, we are all experiencing having all 4 motor centers defined. The root, sacral, solar plexus and heart are all motor centers in the body graph.
The motor centers provide the energy to “do” something. So this week you may experience a lot of energy, but also it moving in a lot of different directions too! This week it’s important to return to your authority before making any decisions and asking, is this my internal energy? Am I feeling external pressure to do? How can I ground into my physical body and connect with my needs?
The Sacral
The sacral center is the motor of vital human energy. This is the energy to create, to reproduce and works in the present. Moment to moment experiencing a pull towards or a away from things, people and experiences.
The Solar Plexus
The solar plexus is the motor energy to feel. This is where we create our emotional waves, the energy to get into life and experience the entire spectrum of human emotions, often by connecting with the right people for the right experiences (or not). The solar plexus is also an awareness center (the only center to fulfill these 2 roles in the bodygraph). So we are also experiencing the energy to process and reflect on our emotional experiences.
The Heart/Ego/Will
The heart center, also known as the will, or the ego, brings the energy to manifest your desires into 3D form. This is the motor energy to create material resources for yourself and others, often showing up as wants.
The Root
And finally the root center brings the energy to fuel life. This is a motor providing momentum, a push forward towards something, an experience, an opportunity, a knowing. The root center brings the stress to move or stay still and is fuelled by adrenaline.
If you do not have these centers defined, this week may feel energetically a lot to carry. You may experience physical overwhelm, tiredness and not knowing when or how to rest. You may ask yourself, how does it feel good to honor my physical body? What activities feel nourishing to my physical form? Where can I create extra space to be still and quiet each day?
Back to gate 31. The gate of leadership for good, or bad. With all things in Human Design, this gate holds a polarity of best but also worst case scenario. This gate is naturally authoritative, with the energy to lead. But as it is a projected channel it must be recognized in order to do so effectively.
The voice here is “I will lead”. It’s going to happen. And that brings the possibility of bad leadership. If gate 31 is not recognized but forces on through anyway, there is the capacity for tyrannical leadership here. Gate 31 has the keynote the gate of democracy, so tyranny is the opposite of what it it here to do. However, when you take an unrecognized “I will lead” energy and add in a nice scoop of bitterness (as a projected channel), you can quickly see how tyranny can take over.
This is a logical gate, it is the final expression of the logical collective circuitry at the throat center. In its highest expression gate 31 takes all of the patterns it has noticed, practiced and repeated, and uses them to become a strong and trusted, but most importantly recognized leader. The recognition will come through a service driven life.
This week you might want to ponder over, where do I feel of service in life? Who recognizes the contribution I make? Am I feeling bitter in any areas of my life and can I adjust my experiences here? Where do I feel naturally powerful in my body?
Human Design Genius To freak channel
On Monday 31st July, the sun moves to the other collective throat expression gate, gate 33 the gate of privacy. You may be collecting many stories this week and waiting for the correct time to share them in the next.
On Thursday 27th July, we will experience channel of structuring, 43-23 from the ajna to the throat. This channel is about articulating your new, unique and possibly (often) quirky ideas to those around you.
Timing is essential for your message to be heard and understood. The channel of structuring gets its name from the need to structure and restructure an idea until it is ready to be understood. There is a pressure for clarity here from the ajna. But it is coming from the spontaneous, mutative and impulsive individual circuit and thus carrying a tension.
Time is needed to practice articulating, knowing that not every idea will make an impact. Timing and recognition is also essential and will define which category you fall into: genius or freak.
Thursday will ask you to reflect upon the important questions, am I clear on what I want to express? Can expression itself be enough? Can I share my ideas freely without making it say anything about my place in the world? Who creates a safe space for me to practice the art of articulation without rushing my process? How can I support myself to structure my thoughts through voice noting/journaling etc?
