This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 14th-20th November, the sun is in gate 43, gate of insight (which I totally forgot to mention last week). We spend the first half of the week with continued definition in the channel of structuring, 23-43, the genius to freak! On Friday 17th November, the sun shifts into gate 14 and we experience the 54-32 channel of transformation before shifting to a reflector transit that carries us into next week.

Continuing from the 9th last week until Thursday 16th November this week, we see collective definition with the channel 43-23. This channel connects the ajna to the throat and is the expression of mutative, individual thought. This is the channel where all those ideas, feelings and distinct knowings get translated into words and vocabulary.
There is an immense struggle here. If you think about the emotional expression of this channel, the 12-22, it focuses on the specific expression of a feeling. Not happy or sad. That won’t cut it. The individual expression is seeking the words to correctly express the minutiae of each feeling. The 43-23 is doing this with thought and ideas.
As we’ve previously talked about, this takes practice. Both to know the correct words to use, but also to recognize the correct time to share this knowing.
This channel can also be called the channel of “not listening”. Not because the 43-23 doesn’t want to hear you, but because it can get so wrapped up in its own thoughts and lose presence in the world and the environment.
This week you might ask others what they know. What are they ready to share? You might ask yourself, what am I processing? Where in life am I unwilling to share as I don’t have the perfect words for it?

Human Design transits forecast 14th-20th november Theme: recognition, waiting & finding the right path
The sun is also in gate 43 until Friday, really double whammying this energy. The gate of insight lives in the ajna part of this channel. This gate brings the energy of seeing a new way of doing things, of looking at the world.
But as with the rest of the individual circuit, this is a spontaneous knowing. It does not follow a logical process but appears as a unique breakthrough on its own time. There is a huge need here to think and wait, which as we’ve talked about can be a real struggle for these powerful spontaneous thoughts.
You might reflect on, do I allow myself to enjoy thinking without having to express? Can I take time to bask in my breakthroughs while waiting for the correct timing? What is my unique brilliance in the world? Who recognizes my brilliance and listens to my unique thoughts?
Are you recognising your power?
On Friday 17th November, the sun shifts into gate 14 and we find definition in the channel of transformation, 54-32.
The channel of transformation moves from the root to the spleen, carrying the design of being driven. Gate 54 brings the energy, the desire to get out there and climb some social ladders. Gate 32 knows which ladders are worth the climb and will make a lasting impact. This energy is about starting something that will create a change, a transformation.
However, this is a projected channel! So although this is an internal ambition and drive to achieve, to create a legacy, it must be done as part of a community in which it is recognised! Ensuring the ladders you climb are being supported by those who see your true value and impact in the world. In fact, this energy strives, yearns for the recognition.
This can manifest as being a workaholic! Confusing more work with recognized work can be fatal here. This channel asks you to manage your energy, to value the energy that you have. And as with all the tribal circuit, being based in the ego, it’s looking for efficient energy usage.
You may wish to journal on, what does efficient energy use look like to me? What legacy do I wish to create? Who supports me in creating a lasting impact? Am I working without recognition? How can I follow the recognition of my talents and ambition? Is this worth it in the long run?
Can you surrender & express?
The sun also shifts into gate 14, the gate of power skills. Gate 14 is a generated gate, living in the sacral center. Thus, this gate lives in response. Response to the things that light you up, that can be developed into powerful skills over time.
This can sometimes feel like luck, or wealth personified. Gate 14 brings the consistent sacral energy to show up for the things that light you up, creating opportunities and resources.
This gate carries the gift of competence in the Gene Keys. The keynote for this gift is one of my favourites, “a fire in the belly”. And it really gives you a feel for how this energy shows up. The gift of gate 14 shows up when somebody truly loves what they do and deeply trusts the way they do it. The fire is created in this combination.
They don’t need to be told what to do, or how to do it. They’re not even looking for it. This is the individual circuit. It wants to do it their way and be witnessed in their greatness.
If you love what you do, and surrender to how you do it, you become an inspiring and changemaking force in the world. You become someone who self-adjusts with precision and elegance. The fire becomes infectious to others who wish to move through the world with their own version of “competence”.
Gate 14 may ask you, what do I love to do? Where can I trust myself in how I do things? What would my life look like if I fully surrendered to my passions and the things that feel delicious?
