This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 28th January-3rd February 2025 (28/01-03/02/25) we get a final reprieve from the 36-35 channel of transitoriness moving through mostly reflector transit. The sun has moved into gate 19, the gate of wanting. And we briefly define in the entire 19-49 channel of synthesis before the sun moves into gate 13, gate of the listener.

Yesterday, Monday 27th January, the sun moved into gate 19 in the root center. As part of the channel of synthesis moving from the root to the solar plexus, this gate is where our journey to emotional health truly begins.
As part of the tribal circuit group, gate 19 is deeply intertwined with our relationships with others. This gate brings the pressure of emotional needs and wants that can only be met in relationship with the other. Gate 19 wants to be involved with another in some way in order to meet both party’s needs.
You might be acutely aware of the emotional needs of yourself and others this week. You could ponder, where am I noticing the need to connect? Who feels good to connect with right now? Where do I feel shared values?
Intimacy, Love & Connection
This is a gate of intimacy, of connection and love. This is where we begin to experience life together in order to get needs met. And as part of the tribal circuit, there is a level of bargaining here. Relationships must have an equal give and take to ensure that everyone is meeting needs and being met. As the root gate this is the very beginning of that bargain.
You might question, what needs do we have? How are we showing up equally? Who is not meeting the needs of the other? What can I provide in return to my close kin?

Human Design transits forecast 28/01-03/02/25 Theme: Emotions, emptying out & connecting on principle
Hopping to Thursday 30th January, the transits bring gate 49 in the solar plexus. The gate of principles brings the emotional awareness of who and how we can meet these needs. With just gate 19 this week, you might be acutely aware of your needs and the emotional needs of others but be completely lost as to how to meet them. Gate 49 brings us some wisdom here.
The channel of synthesis also brings us a day of emotional definition in an otherwise reflector transit week.
The pressure from the gate of wanting (19) pushes you into life to meet others with similar principles (49) so you can begin to build healthy and stable relationships and communities. This is the foundation of creating equal exchanges.
As the balance between meeting other people and holding to your own principles is a fine one, it’s a good day to reflect upon, what are my emotional principles? How do I meet the needs of others and what do I require in return? What am I willing and not willing to do?
You may experience some rejection today. Fact is, when you set your boundaries, they will not align with everyone’s. And this can lead to feeling rejected. This brings up two beautiful opportunities, to potentially negotiate with the other, or to continue on your journey in life to meet those who do align with your principles. Nothing is lost here.
It might feel good to ask, who shares the same emotional principles as me? Where do I feel compassionately recognized in life? Which relationships no longer align? How can I release misaligned relationships with love and compassion?
Determination to try again
Apart from the 30th, and the 3rd, the week brings a reflector transit. Meaning collectively, we share no channel definition, only single gates. This is a time to empty out all of that emotional toil and chaos that the channel of transitoriness has (potentially) rained on your life over the past few months.
A reflector transit is an invitation back home asking, what feels like me? Where in life do I feel delighted? What do I need to release?
This is a time to spend in your own aura, tuning in to your gifts, your magic and processing your experiences. So take some quiet time to do so this week.
On Sunday 2nd February (how the fuck is it February already?) the sun moves into gate 13, the gate of the listener. But as there isn’t a huge amount to talk about next week, I’ll save it for then. Maybe even come into your inbox a little early so you can get the update in real time.
THe expansive cycles of the solar plexus
Monday 3rd February brings a single day with the 42-53. The channel of maturation, and a format channel, is the beginning of the emotional collective process from the sacral to the root.
So as much as this week is mostly reflector definition, we are still experiencing strong emotional themes.
The channel of maturation begins the expansive collective experience of growing through our experiences. When responding correctly (42 in the sacral), you will be guided into a life of expansive cycles. As mentioned a few weeks back, it is essential that you are responding to life so you do not get stuck in cycles you have no intention of completely.
The 42-53 reminds us that all endings are really beginnings and that life is not the location, but the content of the journey itself.
This channel brings us the invitation to be present in our experiences, to fully live and feel every cycle ensuring we are completing the growth that life is offering.
