This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 19/12-26/12, we begin the week with the sun in gate 11, before it shifts to gate 10, the gate of the direction of the self. We spend another couple of days with the 43-23, before moving through the 20-10, channel of awakening and the 35-36, channel of transitoriness, each for a single day. On Monday 26th December, the sun moves into gate 58, another of my faves, the gate of vitality.

Today, Tuesday 19th December, the collective is moving through a reflector transit that began last Saturday. There are no defined centers in the transit chart allowing you to empty out of energy that does not belong to you and come back to your core.
how deep is your love?
Tomorrow, the sun shifts into gate 10. Gate 10, the behaviour of the self, is in the G center and has the possibility of connecting to the throat (20), the spleen (57), the sacral (34). The core of this energy is the love of the self. And the possibility to express this love through many ways is shown in the potential connections here.
This gate is where you pour who you are into the world. Expression here is an embodiment of how much, and how deeply, you love and value yourself. This often shows up as conviction in life.
You may want to ask yourself, what does conviction mean to me? Do I love myself enough to show up just as I am? How do I pour myself into the world?
This is one of the 5 gates of the integration channels. The theme here is the empowered self. And gate 10 gives you the love for yourself, to act like you because you love who you are and you love the world you reside in. It’s a mutual thing. Do I love the world enough to show up as I am? And do I love myself enough to show up in the world?
A role gate for life
Gate 10 is also a role gate. A role gate is essentially a gate that can set the themes for the rest of the energy in your experience, similar to how I’m always talking about the format channels.
If you have gate 10 in your own chart, take a moment to see where the placement is and what line it shows up in. It’s telling you something about the way you were designed to pour love into the world while you’re here.
Over the next week or so with gate 10 in the sun placement, you’ll be moving through all 6 of the lines. This is where we get the names for the lines throughout the Human Design system. The Investigator, the Hermit, the Martyr, the Opportunist, the Heretic and the Role Model. You will get to experience the 6 different ways this love can show up through building a foundation (1st line), trial and error (3rd line) or the aloof knowing and embodiment of a role model (6th line).
As this gate is hanging for most of the week, you can experiment with how you express this love. Is it through action (34)? Expression in the now (20)? Or through intuition (57)?
The gate of the behaviour of the self brings the love and direction to be powerfully who you are, and thus surrender to your life’s unique direction in life. When you interact with others from this space, and love yourself through each connection you make, success is the only option for you.
So this week explore self love. Where do I show myself love? Where in life am I not showing up in a loving way? Do I trust in myself and my unique path in life? Do I love myself enough to exist on my own timeline?

Human Design transits forecast 19/12-26/12 Theme: love, trust & riding the wave of expectations
On Thursday 21st through to Christmas eve, you see definition in the 43-23, the genius to freak. And what a great time of year for this to show up? Bringins access to new mutative ideas to be expressed right before one of the most potentially stressful times of the year.
The 43-23, channel of structuring, is here to bring structure to new ideas that begin with the pressure from the head center. The ajna organises these ideas and begins to find away to articulate them. This is what this channel is here to do, get the words out of your mouth! And this process takes time.
You might need time to revisit your idea a few times before finding the correct words to adequately express them into the world. So take your time this week, don’t allow the pressure to express (and to be certain about it) to push the words out before you are ready. Maybe ask, how can I slow down? What supports my energy to reflect on life? How can I hold onto my wisdom until the timing is right? How is waiting the most powerful action I can take today?
Recognition is HUGE here. But it isn’t the be all and end all of it. If you are recognized, invited, and in the correct environment, your ideas will herald you the genius! If not, you become the freak. The point more here is, do you care? Or should you care? Or how could you not care?
Impulsive But needs practice?
This expression requires determination, practice at how to formulate your ideas so they will land. BUT it’s also individual and impulsive. Sometimes you have the impulsive need to share something! Sometimes you are recognized but the idea is still a little ahead of it’s time.
Here, you’re invited to focus on the act of sharing, can expression itself be enough? Can I share my ideas freely without making it say anything about my place in the world? What stories do I tell myself about sharing my unique views on the world and our lives in it?
This is the practice of coming into your genius. Of releasing attachment to the response of your expressions and giving yourself the freedom to formulate and articulate whatever the hell you want to share!
awakening to yourself
Sunday 24th December also brings a short stop with the 10-20, channel of awakening. This channel connects the G center to the throat, bringing the ability for the behaviour of the self to be expressed in the moment. It is the immediate self. This channel brings the energy to be awake to your true self in each moment, awake to how your presence exists in the world. But not necessarily aware. This is more just a being, than a knowing you are being if that makes sense?
The 10-20 allows life to flow through you so effortlessly, for that love to pour out into the world, that is becomes who you are and not what you do. It is just that, effortless. This is another of the integration channels and thus follows it’s own laws (whilst technically being a projected channel). With any of the integration channels you are truly here to be yourself in your behaviour and expression. You do not need an outside invitation or recognition, life is the invitation. The fact that you are alive is all the invitation that you need.
So you may want to ask yourself, where am I waiting for recognition before expressing? Or more powerfully, what am I waiting for?
It’s all in the timing.
Christmas day, December the 25th, we see definition in the channel of transitoriness, the 35-36. And I hope the irony of this energy is not lost on you all!
This is the channel of experiences, the design of the jack of all trades, and it is on a constant journey through expectation and disappointment. Showing up on Christmas day is definitely a cosmic joke as much of the Christian world exchanges gifts and tries to navigate the emotional experience of giving and receiving.
As you navigate the journey between expectation and disappointment that this energy brings, take time to reflect on, have I come to a place of emotional clarity? Am I willing to take responsibility for the impact I might make? How can I support myself to be on this journey without attaching to the stories of how it should go?
On December 26th, the sun shifts into gate 58, the gate of vitality in the root center, and we’ll dive into that one next week.
