This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 19th-25th November 2024 (19/11-25/11) the sun continues to move through gate 14. We dip in and back out of the 58-18 channel of judgement, and be visited by the channel of logic, 63-4, for a single day. As the sun shifts into gate 34, we are defined with the 34-20 into next week!
If you’re a regular here, I’m sorry. I dropped the ball last week due to a combination of holiday blues and a scratch on my eyeball. Said scratch put me out of business for a day but threw my whole week out of whack. Luckily, gate 14 carries us into this week and the 58-18 makes a brief appearance too. So nothing is lost! (Except the 43-23 from last week. And I’ll make that it’s own baby post soon!)

Gate 14 – The Gate of Power Skills
Today, Tuesday 19th November (holy shit how is it November?), the sun is in gate 14, the gate of power skills. Part of the 14-2 channel of the beat, connecting the sacral to the G center, gate 14 brings the sacral power to find your unique direction. As part of the individual circuit this energy is about you finding your direction and doing it your way.
As this is a sacral gate, this gate loves to work, but more importantly needs to LOVE their work. It is in loving what you do that this gate can find the satisfaction the sacral is seeking. This is a good week to ask yourself, what do I love to do? What feels like me and my uniqueness? Is what I’m doing supporting my unique direction in life?
The power skills of this gate is truly unlocked when your creative endeavours are a reflection of who you are in this world. This is often how you unlock creating an abundance of wealth through your skills.
Without gate 2, you might not necessarily have the direction, but gate 14 is bringing the power to find it! To get out into life even when your unique direction seems cloudy or out of reach for the moment.
The reality of gate 14
And I get it, we aren’t all privileged enough to make our living through something that we love. So if this is the case for you, how can you make time to put your energy into something that feels exciting? Something that feels yummy and satisfying for you to do? Can you create the time to direct your energy in the way of your unique expression in this life?
Gate 14 brings such sacral power that is can be easy to go too far (especially with an undefined sacral) so maybe ask yourself this week, do I need to slow down? What can I put down for another time? Is this work in alignment? And as this is in the sacral center, am I being pulled towards this activity?

Human Design transits forecast 19/11-25/11 Theme: Critique, power and the power of enquiry
For today only, you are joined by the channel of judgement 58-18 from the root to the spleen. This channel is the first piece of the stream of taste and the wider job is to support the collective moving into a thriving future.
When broken down I love this channel.
The 58-18 is about love and perfection. Gate 58, the gate of vitality, brings such a love for life that you are fuelled to get out there and perfect it. Gate 18, the gate of correction, then intuitively finds possible solutions to make life as beautiful as it can possibly be!
Okay, I’m done with the poetry. Because in real life, the channel of judgement likes to get out into life and find every little thing that is broken and pick it apart. All in the name of beauty and perfection! But here we find the energy to challenge what we find in life, to notice what is “spoiled” so we have the potential to fix it for the future.
The issue here though, is it isn’t necessarily about the “fixing it”. There isn’t a huge amount of energy in this projected channel. So often the energy ends with the critique. Which, when uninvited, doesn’t feel great.
When Critiquing Needs a job
This energy needs to go somewhere, it needs an outlet. But when unchecked, the 58-18 just needs negative, a real debbie downer, always finding fault in even the best moments. And when we circle back, this energy wants pure perfection AND knows it’s available. This energy is disruptive in the best way.
But what is needed today is a lot of self-compassion, as this energy can turn inwards very quickly. Today, make sure you give your inner critic a job. Is there a closet to be cleaned? A spreadsheet to be updated? Maybe it’s time to sort your finances, or tidy your bathroom? We must honor this energies ability to find potential perfection.
And you might notice yourself feeling a little extra critique today so noodle over, is my input invited? Is sharing this potential for something better supportive in this moment? How can I hold the idea of knowing something is off, without needing to do anything about it?
After that potentially heavy 58-18 day, you move into 2 days of reflector transits. Leaving you wide open to life and with the space to luxuriate in your own aura and those power skills that the gate 14 is shining through.
Surrendering to The power to be yourself!
On Friday 22nd November, the sun shifts into gate 34, the gate of power. As gate 34 and gate 20 are pairing partners, you will experience the 34-20 into next week! The channel of charisma, connecting the sacral directly to the throat, bringing some pure manifesting generator energy!
With the sun in gate 34, you’re being deeply invited into your energy, your power and your ability to move on your own. Gate 34 is the sacral energy in the integration channels. These are a collection of channels that represent the pure human power to survive alone. Shifting the ideals away from community “we survive so you survive” to “I survive, so we can all survive as individuals together.”
There is such a strength in the 34, but it must be responding. So this week ask yourself, what lights me up? What gives me that pumped up feeling? Who feels exciting and expansive to spend time with? What am I being pulled towards?
Permission to feel into the belly in every moment this week.
And that brings us to the channel of charism, the 34-20. Taking pure sacral power, directly to the throat to be expressed in the now (20). This is the design of “where awareness must become deem” speaking to the action that must be honored in this energy. The 34-20 is busy. Not because it has to be, or feels it should. But because it feels satisfying, it feels good to be so deeply in life and in the moment!
And it is this ability to be completely submerged in a moment that can become alluring, creating that charisma. So this week as we move through the 6 lines of gate 34, is once again about YOU. Your satisfaction. The things that excite you. Asking, how can I surrender to exactly who I am in each moment? And allowing yourself to move quickly when inspired to do so.
Power in the now meets the logical mind
A moment for my non-sacrals, 34-20 energy is enticing. It’s fun, it’s gorgeous. But it can be exhausting! So please pay attention to your body this week. Stop before it feels like too much. Know that it can wait for you and that you’re running on borrowed energy.
As if by some divine magic, our first day with the 34-20, is being supported by the 63-4, channel of logic. Just bringing you a little mental energy to muddle through before throwing yourself physically into the moments of life.
The channel of logic, moving from the head to the ajna, brings the fuel to understand life by questioning what we know to be true. This is an energy of enquiry, of curiosity, of asking “but is it though?”
This is my personality Earth (gate 63), and I feel so deeply grounded in my ability to ask “but is it?” to every little grain of doubt that crosses my path. And where 63 pokes the holes, gate 4 brings along potential answers for those moments of curiosity. So it’s not all questions and breaking things apart. You need to doubt in order to stimulate new answers. If you accept everything as is, you’ll continue to do what is done.
The channel of logic is here to refine life, by questioning what we accept as truth and creating the potential for “lightbulb moments” of answers. However, this is a collective energy and the gift is in the sharing. This is not to pick apart your internal world, but merely to lightly question the external experience.
You might want to noodle over my fave 63 question today, but is it? Seeing if you can create your own light for new answers and solutions!
