This week the Human Design transits forecast for 18th-24th February 2025 (18-24/02/25), the sun moves into gate 55, the gate of spirit. We spend most of the week with the 36-35 and the 59-6, and the sun shifts into gate 37 on Monday 24th February.

It’s another BIG emotional week! With an emotional sun, 3 emotional channels and then another emotional sun gate. This is the Universe screeeeaming Solar Plexus at us! But it’s also asking you to tune in, the focus on where you’re at in the present. The solar plexus asks you to take time in making decisions, but it also asks you to open your mind. To accept that most things are good and bad and wonderful all at the same time. So this week the Universe is asking you to expand your awareness of how you feel, or how you connect, and how you experience this life as fully as you can.
Tuesday 18th February continued much as last week with the 41-30, 36-35 emotional combo.
we Witness & we don’t judge!
Today, Wednesday 19th February (because I’m late) the sun shifts into gate 55, the gate of spirit. We lose the channel of recognition, and the channel of transitoriness is met by the 59-6, channel of mating.
The gate of spirit, gate 55, is part of the individual emotional wave. The gate of spirit brings the awareness to notice our emotions, without judging them. With this as the sun this week you’re being asked to think, what can I feel? Without assigning it to positive or negative on the spectrum.
Gate 55 seeks to find deep wisdom through the intense highs and the intense lows of emotion. It really brings the knowledge that this too shall pass, because it has to, because it always does. You might want to ask, how is allowing my mood/life/thought the kindest thing I can do for myself? How can I care for myself within the experience I’m having?
Richard Rudd describes this gate as “people who are deeply melancholic… must honour their moods at all costs.” Meaning it is only through allowing that you can truly learn and grow. And as this is a solar plexus gate, the spirit it seeks to find is in yourself and others.
You might reflect on, who allows me to honour my moods? Where in life do I feel supported to be as I am, not how I “should” be? Who sees and resonates with my spirit?
As part of the individual circuit, gate 55 wants to be witnessed and is seeking other spirits who are willing to resonate alongside them. This gate, along with the 59-6 channel, are always seeking out those who are ready to get in to the mood with you. You might ask, where is my spirit met and by who?
And a final note on melancholy.
The theme of melancholy is seen throughout the individual circuit. But melancholic doesn’t necessarily mean low or sad in this context. The melancholy we see with gate 55 is a void, an emptiness.
With the mechanics of the peak highs and deep lows of the individual wave, the middle, the “neutral” phases of the wave begins to feel empty, like nothingness. And due to the super heights and depths of this wave, this cannot be avoided. As the sun moves through the gate of spirit, you might find yourself attempting to create a feeling rather than experience the melancholy.
But the lesson is this, let it be. It will pass. Because it has to.

Human Design transits forecast 18-24/02/25 Theme: Expanding through experience, understanding and intimacy.
On Wednesday 19th February, we are also joined by the 59-6. The channel of mating, from the sacral to the solar plexus is the only sacral emotional wave, often called the source wave. Part of the defense circuit, the 59-6 is fundamentally about creating life (biologically and otherwise). This is where the power of the sacral (59) meets the awareness of who to connect with, or not (6) in order to access fertile ground.
This fertility speaks to where, who and when life is the most alive. The universe states that life must create more life, and this all starts here. Today you might be extra aware of where energy is worth putting, where it multiplies. Or where infertility lies, where nothing continues to grow.
Maybe noodle over, where does my input create more? Are there any areas where my energy falls on deaf ears? How can I focus on the fertile areas of my life?
Gate 59 brings the sacral energy to breakdown the barriers of connection that we find in gate 6. Gate 59 is asking, are we ready? And gate 6 brings the awareness of yes or no, open or closed to intimate connection.
Are they open the receiving?
This channel can be very penetrating, an energy needed to get inside the friction and move through it. However, the other must be open to this or you may feel rejected by their response.
With the 59-6 sticking around all week you’re being asked, what am I inspired to create next? What is asking to be birthed into the world and with who? Tuning into what the body is being pulled towards. Knowing that deep intimate connection creates what is needed for the community to thrive together.
The 59-6, due to its penetrative nature, can be seen as alluring by the other party (or irritating! There is always another side to the coin with this one). So permission this week to be a little extra flirty, to embrace those who flirt with you, because you never know what the universe is pulling you towards creating!
Moving through life
Alongside this energy we continue with the 36-35, channel of transitoriness, deeping our need to be IN life, growing through the journey not focusing on the destination. Learning as we go and sharing what we notice.
Expansion is huge this week. Expanding and growing through experience, emotional understanding and intimate connections.
On Monday 24th the sun shifts into gate 37, the tribal wave solar plexus gate. But we’ll jump into that next week!
