This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 14th-20th January 2025 (14-20/01/25) the sun continues to move through gate 61, the gate of mystery, before clicking over into gate 60, the gate of acceptance. And joining the 36-35 this week is the 29-46, channel of channel of discovery for just a single day! So we have big transitoriness vibes this week!

The sun is moving through the upper trigram lines, four to six, of gate 61 between today and Thursday. So it may feel natural to share some of your big questions of life with those around you. It might feel good to dive into discussion about, what are we doing here? What is our greater purpose? Or any type of “have you ever thought…” thoughts.
And as someone with this whole stream, 61-24 & 43-23, I regularly have conversations that begin, “you want to know what I’m thinking?” Regularly leading us down weird and wonderful rabbit holes we potentially do not have the time for.
So allow yourself to think and to question. To see life with a little curiosity and daydream in those extra large questions about life. This is the gate of mystery so allow yourself to question all the things we do not (and probably cannot ever) know!
Is there a lucky channel?
On Thursday 16th January the sun shifts into gate 60 and we’re defined in the 29-46, channel of discovery. The 29-46 connects the sacral to the G center and is part of the collective abstract circuit. So while this is not a channel from the solar plexus, it carries the same themes of reflecting upon life to learn lessons for the future. It is deeply rooted in living life and completing cycles so we can move forward.
The channel of discovery combines the power of the sacral and the deep identity of the G center. Gate 46 brings the determination to stick out life’s cycles and gate 29 brings the energy to keep saying yes. This combination creates a “lucky” channel. However there is no luck here. Just the power and determination to stay the course.
The reality is if you keep saying yes, eventually you will find success. It is not really the thing you said yes to, but your ability to say yes that eventually creates such luck.
It might feel good to noodle through your determinations. Where am I determined to keep saying yes? How can I support myself in finding my lucky move? What does success feel like to me? And what evidence do I have that I’m already experiencing it?
This channel requires you to surrender to life and your unique direction to uncover your luck. You might ask, can I trust myself enough to respond to what life brings? How can I let go a little and let life show up for me?

Human Design transits forecast 14-20/01/25 Theme: curiosity, accepting the time & creating your own luck
This channel is joined by the move into gate 60, in the root center. The gate of acceptance as part of the individual circuit, is here to bring newness into the world! But it brings the need to accept the limitations of life. Gate 60 knows that the pressure to move forward exists because of the limits we experience.
Gate 60 is asking, how can I let the pressure build? What limitations are creating more opportunity to be innovative?
The acceptance here speaks to the energy of the root. The pressure must build before it can move into the world. Sometimes there is pressure. And sometimes there is no pressure. You must accept both of these states of being.
It might feel supportive to notice this week, can I create an environment that allows me to quickly move, when the energy comes? What can I notice while I wait for the energy?
As a root gate, gate 60 is rooted in managing stress. It is this push of stress that allows you to move. The stress is necessary to get started. Think of it like friction on car wheels. When you first pull off, the friction is needed to get yourself moving. Without the friction, you’re going nowhere!
If you are someone with an undefined root you may feel extra pressure to move and get things done this week. You might feel uncomfortable with urgency of any kind.
Relax into your divine timing and ask, when does my body feel inspired to get into action? How can I express that I do not respond to external timelines?
The gate of mystery
And this brings us back to the channel of transitoriness, 36-35, from the solar plexus to the throat once again. This continued transit is continually asking you, am I in the adventure of life? Can I pay attention to what is right here?
It’s so easy to get distracted with the big goal, the end point. But the 36-35 is saying, what is there to celebrate right now?
Because you survived this far! And that is magical.
