This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 12/12-18/12, we begin the week with the sun in gate 26, the gate of the egoist and are joined by the 44, gate of alertness, defining the entire channel of surrender. On Friday 15th December, the sun shifts to gate 11, gate of ideas in the ajna, and we experience a reflector transit for the rest of the week. So it’s a pretty chill one this week.

The channel of surrender
Gate 44 of alertness, joined gate 26, the egoist on Monday 11th to define the channel of surrender from the spleen to the heart center. Of all the channels in the bodygraph this is one that I find hard to articulate correctly but it’s so very powerful.
This channel brings together the intuitive and knowing of the spleen, with the motivation and willpower of the heart center. The action here is manipulation which can bring up a whole host of emotional attachment for us all. But when you strip it back manipulation is the ability to take what you have and create something else, something new, something better. That’s what the 44-26 is here to do.
As humans we are meant to manipulate the resources of the world. And it is a skill we have used to truly thrive on this planet. It is our ability to share information, tools, ideas and the necessity of somebody (or a group of people) to organize and guide these energies to get the job done. It is our ability to work together and manipulate resources that has allowed us to live the lives we know, and allowing us to continue to better them.
Although this channel connects to the heart, it is still a projected channel. So we’re carrying the theme of recognition and potential bitterness here. The recognition of the 44-26 comes from the community. Remember this channel is part of the tribal circuit it must be balanced and reciprocal. This energy can sense who has the needed skills (gate 44) and manipulate them to be the most efficient (gate 26) so that everyone wins. Solutions come at a price here.
The balance of sales
Gate 26 is bringing the energy to manage the energies in the most efficient way. Gate 26, being a heart gate, wants to rest, so its contribution is often the management of the skills and tools of others. It is the others that do the work. However as long as everyone gets paid, the balance remains.
Think about salespeople. They don’t research the item, they don’t physically put them together, they don’t handle logistics and shipping, they just connect people in need with their solution. They are the mouthpiece of the whole operation. Without sales the item would not exist, but without the item, the sales cannot happen. There is such a delicate balance here to ensure everyone feels like they are recognised, valued and compensated.
You may want to reflect upon, do I feel efficiently compensated for my value in the world? Are there places in life where I need more support? Am I resting enough to show up for those I love? What is valuable to me? Am I aligning my life with my values? Can I be more efficient in my life? Who can support me in doing so?

Human Design transits forecast 12/12-18/12 Theme: tick for tat, the salesman & doing nothing with new ideas!
I’m going to dive into gate 44, the gate of alertness here too. This splenic gate is essential in the selling of the channel of surrender. And when we think of surrender here, we’re thinking about surrendering to the community, to its needs, to its skills and to the tools available. This isn’t selling for the sake of selling, or conjuring skills from nowhere. This is the intentional sale of what the community needs to thrive and the intentional manipulation of what is available for maximum gain. Surrender elsewhere in Human Design is often about strategy and authority or surrendering to what life brings. This is something very different.
Back to gate 44, as with all splenic gates this gate carries a fear. This is a fear of the past, of the past repeating itself. The gate of alertness gets its knowledge from ancestral memories, those of primordial fears. Fear of death, sickness, famine, genocide, flood. It is this deep connection to ancestral fears that creates an energy of preparedness.
This can be a heavy fear to carry because it is all encompassing. It connects to the spleens ability to see what is coming and ensure that it is ready for whatever might be next. Gate 44 does this by “sniffing out” the skills of others. Who can do what? How can they be deployed for the larger purpose if necessary? Gate 44 is waiting for the invitation to create a team, with a deep knowledge of who is correct for my team? Who can help me meet all of the fears for the kinship? Who can help us succeed in the material world?
Primordial fear and the tribal circuit
And it is this skill that it primes for the sale. Gate 44 taps into these fears of survival, of repeating past ancestral patterns to create a sale (in the 26) that cannot be resisted!
Thinking on gate 44, might have you pondering, am I limiting myself based on past experiences? Am I surrounded by people who meet my convictions? Do my priorities reflect what is truly important to me and those I love?
What’s in an idea?
On Friday 15th December, the sun moves into gate 11, gate of ideas in the ajna. Now this is a fun one! IF you can experience the energy for what it is. But there are many possible stumbling blocks here.
The gate of ideas brings the energy for a continual font of changing ideas. Created from the pressure in the head center, moving through the 64-47, gate 11 brings forth a never ending supply of diamond in the rough ideas.
However, these are JUST ideas. This is the ajna, there is no motor here and no action or manifestation into the world. This is a concept that we struggle with as humanity, having ideas and doing nothing with them.
Especially if you have an undefined ajna! You might find yourself jumping into action with an idea in order to avoid the uncertainty of it all. However the doing, the practicality of any idea, must come from your strategy and authority, not from any pressure in the mind.
Gate 11 is an incredibly powerful energy in the collective! The ability to brings unending ideas to the table allows the collective to see all of the potential ways to move forward, before finding the one that is correct. So these ideas must be shared!
Are you holding back your ideas?
There is a tendency to hold onto all ideas incase someone else “steals” it. I hear this a lot. But ideas are meant to be shared! The ajna is not meant to hold information in. This is the realm of outer authority, everything that is created here is truly for the other and not the self.
You may find yourself feeling extra inspired this coming week. Or that you have so many ideas. But remember you do not need to take action. First follow your strategy and authority! Or you’ll find yourself 10 steps down a pathway that was never really follows then juggling how to remove yourself from an idea you started not in alignment.
What’s so fun about gate 11 is, in its need to continually create ideas, it is often seeking stimulation in the form of experiences or stories. You may find yourself drawn to something new, or asking different questions, as you create more and more new ideas.
This week have fun with it! Have fun with the infinite possibilities that your mind can create. Let the creation of the ideas be enough!
