This week in the Human Design transits forecast for 5th-11th November 2024 (05/11-11/11) the sun shifts into gate 1, the gate of self-expression and we have a lot of movement this week. We are joined by both the channel of inspiration 1-8 and the 34-10, channel of r today. On Wednesday the 11-56, joins the 1-8. At the end of the week the sun shifts into gate 43 and we experience the channel of 43-23 that carries you into next week.

We’ll start with gate 1. And I must admit I am biased. This is my only G center gate, and I love the way it dances with my 2nd line through life!
Gate 1, the gate of self-expression, is about just that, pure self-expression. This is creativity as a way of pouring yourself out into the world. Which sounds fantastic as a concept right? In its purest form this gate creates from a deep sense of self for no other reason than the act of creativity. However, the ability to let yourself just create is a hard one. In this capitalistic world where output must equal profit, we don’t often create the space for the joy to be in the creating, and not in the final product.
This week you are being invited to be creative, in whatever form that shows up. With absolutely no thought for the outcome or the impact. You can ask yourself, what would I love to make this week? What brings me joy in the “doing”? Can I focus on the act of being creative?
This might be art or crafts or music. It could be dance, poetry, a new recipe, a kickass spreadsheet. This creativity is part of the individual circuit and thus shows up as spontaneously you. See if you can create some wiggle room in your schedule to just make a thing this week!

Human Design transits forecast 05/11-11/11 Theme: Creativity, empowerment & bringing the drama
For today only, you are transiting through the 34-10, channel of exploration. This channel links the Sacral to the G and is part of the centering circuit. This minor circuit, consisting of just 2 channels centers us in on ourselves. Consisting of the G center, the sacral and the heart, this is the energy to be who you are and follow your unique path.
The 34-10 brings the power of the sacral to gate 10, the behaviour of the self. Creating the power to show up and act in the world as perfectly, uniquely yourself. Centering you in on who you are and empowering you to behave that way in the world. This is the exploration of yourself as you move.
You might want to ask yourself, at my core how do I show up? What actions feel like me? How do I pour myself into the world?
The channel of exploration has the design of following your convictions. This requires a deep trust in yourself and a surrender to your path. The G center always brings us back to love. Can you love yourself enough to show up powerfully just as you are? Do you trust yourself enough to dive into the path you know is yours?
Witnessing the creations we make
The theme of creativity and individuality is huge this week. Along with the sun in gate 1, we also have the channel of inspiration, 1-8, defining your G to throat from today until next Monday. This channel has been in and out of the transits for a few weeks, and brings a tension to the creativity of gate 1 as discussed earlier.
Gate 8, the gate of contribution, takes what gate 1 creates and shares it with the community or collective. This can immediately put gate 1 into a state of “what can I create that will be well received?” But this is the individual circuit. This is not about reception for acceptance, it is reception through self-empowerment. This channel is asking you to trust so deeply in your individual creative expression, that you allow others to receive it just as you are.
The creativity in this individual channel is not here to be explained. Just witnessed. Taken in in a role model capacity. Deeply embodying the individual theme of self-empowerment.
Channel of “Hold my beer” 11-56
Channel 11-56, the channel of curiosity, joins the transits from Wednesday 6th – Saturday 9th November. Connecting the ajna to the throat, this channel is about storytelling. This channel has a unique ability to share stories in a way that captivates the audience. But the focus here is really on the story.
As part of the abstract sensing circuit, this channel does not deal in facts and logic. But it talks in stories exploring our humanity, experiences and beliefs. The 11-56 wants to make an impact on the listener and will exaggerate, flourish and polish the narrative in order to do so.
But that is the magic of this channel! This channel is influential and creative and is here to share beliefs that will expand the minds of those who listen. So this week feel free to spice up the story telling a little (also pay attention to noticing this in others!).
You may want to ask, where can I add a little drama in my life? What stimulating topics do I love to talk about? What do I feel needs to be shared? Who can benefit from hearing about my experiences in their raw (and maybe slightly exaggerated) format?
Expressing your impulsive awareness – the messy part
On Monday 11th November, the sun shifts into gate 43 in the ajna. The ajna brings the mental awareness of how to categorise, organize and group information (aka make sense of it) before expressing it into the world.
Gate 43, the gate of insight, is another individual gate. So we continue on the theme of impulsive, innovative and mutative energy with this sun gate. This is one of the few gates whose pairing partner is the other gate in the channel. So whenever gate 43 is in the sun, gate 23 is in the earth, and we get the entire channel of structuring. The channel will carry us into the next week, but we’ll start with the 43.
The gate of insight is really the beginning of an idea taking form. It is the awareness to begin to share a thought. Unlike the awareness of the spleen, this individual energy is quite messy. The insight, or breakthrough thought, happens spontaneously moving from a place of totally unknown to inner truth instantly. However this is mutative energy, the insight is new, innovative and therefore will be expressed in the 23 at the throat in a creative and novel way.
The difficulty with gate 43 is having the insight, an internal “I know” moment, but being completely unable to express this in a way that makes sense to anyone but you. There is a process where gate 43 attempts to pull apart the insight to understand it, and that understanding may never come.
As you begin a new week, you might want to ask, what is my inner truth? How can I hold moments of breakthrough without the pressure to share it? What innovative and exciting thoughts have I had this week?
